A qualified electrical professional skilled in both traditional residential electrical work and the integration of modern smart homes and solar power systems.
Responsibilities
- Performing electrical installations and repairs, as well as fault diagnostics in villas and apartments
- Lighting systems, sockets, electrical panels, grounding, switches
- Installation and maintenance of home automation and smart home systems (KNX, Loxone, Zigbee, Z-Wave)
- Basic installation of alarm systems and camera surveillance
- Official documentation of electrical work and boletín entries according to local requirements
- Before/after photos and component serial numbers into Property Vault
Requirements
- Spanish electrical qualification (instalador electricista autorizado, BT or equivalent), or the willingness to obtain it
- At least 3 years of experience in residential electrical work
- Experience with old systems — the Costa del Sol has many properties from the 1970s–1990s whose wiring needs updating
- Willingness to embrace the growing role of smart homes and solar power in the work
- Eligibility for registration in Spain
