    A qualified electrical professional who handles both traditional residential electrical work and modern smart home and solar PV system integration.

    Responsibilities

    • Electrical installations, repairs and fault diagnostics in villas and apartments
    • Lighting systems, sockets, distribution boards, earthing, circuit breakers
    • Installation and maintenance of home automation and smart home systems (KNX, Loxone, Zigbee, Z-Wave)
    • Basic installations of alarm systems and CCTV
    • Official documentation of electrical work and boletín records in line with local requirements
    • Before/after photos and component serial numbers logged in Property Vault

    What we expect

    • Spanish electrical qualification (instalador electricista autorizado, BT or equivalent), or willingness to obtain one
    • At least 3 years' experience in residential electrical work
    • Experience with older systems — the Costa del Sol has many properties from the 1970s–1990s whose wiring needs upgrading
    • Readiness for the growing role of smart homes and solar PV in the work
    • Eligible to register in Spain
