A professional familiar with Mediterranean garden vegetation who masters both irrigation systems and plant care, and documents their work for absentee owners.
Responsibilities
- Lawn mowing, trimming hedges and shrubs, care-pruning of trees
- Installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and adjustment of irrigation systems
- Planting, replanting, and selecting plants suitable for the Costa del Sol climate
- Fertilization, plant protection, and preventive plant care
- Typical local vegetation: bougainvillea, jasmine, olive trees, palms, cypresses, succulents
- Occasionally minor landscaping, paving, and path maintenance tasks
- Photo report of every visit — the state of the garden is visible to the owner, who is often on another continent
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience with Mediterranean gardens
- Knowledge of typical Costa del Sol vegetation, its growth rhythm, watering needs, and diseases
- Professional expertise in irrigation systems — drip irrigation, sprinklers, smart controllers
- Willingness for daily use of mobile app for work — photos and timestamps of visits
- Good physical condition
- Eligibility for registration in Spain
