A skilled construction and renovation professional with strong tiling expertise — someone who can handle bathroom renovations, terrace repairs and surface restorations to the standard demanded by the Costa del Sol's premium properties. Precision and clean finishing define the work.
Responsibilities
- Tiling work: wall and floor tiling in bathrooms, kitchens, terraces and pool areas — removal of old tiles, substrate preparation, waterproofing and grouting
- Small and medium-sized renovation projects: bathroom renovations, kitchen updates, terrace restorations
- Repair of cracked, loose or water-damaged tiles — respecting the existing materials and patterns
- Plastering, levelling and patching of walls and ceilings
- Minor structural repairs: crack repair, rebuilding damaged walls, concrete surface repairs
- Waterproofing work on terraces, flat roofs and wet rooms
- Before/after photos of every visit in Property Vault
- Collaboration with plumbers, electricians and other SolidMaint technicians on renovation projects
What we expect
- At least 3 years' experience in tiling, renovation or general construction work
- Demonstrated skill in precision tiling — large-format tiles, mosaic, natural stone and outdoor-grade porcelain
- Knowledge of waterproofing systems and preparing wet-room and terrace substrates
- Experience with the challenges typical of Costa del Sol properties: thermal expansion, salt air exposure, ageing terrace membranes
- Ability to work independently on small projects and as part of a team on larger renovations
- Tidy, disciplined site habits — the properties are occupied or rental-ready homes, not construction sites
- Willingness to use a smartphone for work orders, progress documentation and photo reporting
- Driving licence and your own vehicle initially, company vehicle later
- Eligible to register in Spain (autónomo or employment contract)
