Repair & Construction Worker — Tiling Specialist

A skilled repair and construction professional with strong tiling expertise — someone who can handle bathroom renovations, terrace repairs, and surface restoration to a standard that matches the premium properties on the Costa del Sol. Precision and clean finishing define the work.
Responsibilities
- Tiling work: wall and floor tiling in bathrooms, kitchens, terraces, and pool areas — including removal of old tiles, surface preparation, waterproofing, and grouting
- Small to medium renovation projects: bathroom refurbishments, kitchen upgrades, terrace restorations
- Repair of cracked, loose, or water-damaged tiles — matching existing materials and patterns
- Plastering, rendering, and patching walls and ceilings
- Minor structural repairs: fixing cracks, rebuilding damaged walls, repairing concrete surfaces
- Waterproofing work on terraces, flat roofs, and wet rooms
- Before/after photos of every job in Property Vault
- Coordinating with plumbers, electricians, and other SolidMaint technicians on renovation projects
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in tiling, renovation, or general construction work
- Demonstrated skill in precision tiling — large-format tiles, mosaic, natural stone, and outdoor porcelain
- Knowledge of waterproofing systems and substrate preparation for wet areas and terraces
- Experience with the specific challenges of Costa del Sol properties: thermal expansion, salt air exposure, aging terrace membranes
- Ability to work independently on small projects and as part of a team on larger renovations
- Clean, organized worksite discipline — these are occupied or rental-ready properties, not construction sites
- Willingness to use a smartphone for work orders, progress documentation, and visual reporting
- Driver's license and own vehicle initially, company vehicle later
- Eligibility for registration in Spain (autónomo or employment contract)

- Clientele mainly foreigners — Finns, Brits, Germans, Dutch, Belgians
- Support from management and customer service — you don't handle negotiations or complaints
- Close coordination with other field teams through the ERP — plumbers and electricians are dispatched to support your projects when needed
